Greetings and Apologies

Greetings and Apologies

This is just to say hello from London and apologise for my quietness this week. While my blog posts have been scheduled and I’m even trying to keep up with my Phoneography Project 365, I don’t have the space and strength to respond all your lovely comments now. I should be home by the end of the week though, and I’ll catch up with each single comment and all your Poetry 101 Rehab contributions as well. My apologies and thank you for bearing with me!

  1. So near, and yet so far. We are only a short distance from London – if you come again we could meet in Town, even for a quick coffee. Enjoy your trip. we are back to the hospital tomorrow.

    1. Oh, I see! It’s a shame that the circumstances weren’t so great this time, but when I revisit, I’ll be thinking of you! Hope your husband is recovering well…

    1. Thanks! While London wasn’t bad, it peculiarly lacked atmosphere for me. I like other cities better. Anyway, now I have some 800 London photos to sort out and delete the rubbish ones…

      1. I’ve been there once too and I don’t think that it had any special atmosphere either. A lot of people that were just stressing around. Sorting out photos is a lot of work. I still have unsorted holiday photos from years back!

        1. Thank you for saying that. i was starting to wonder if there was something wrong with me when London didn’t impress me. I expected it would feel “British”, but it was the most un-British place. It’s quite different with Scotland, which happens to be my favourite region. Well, I’ll see how it goes with sorting out my photos, maybe I’ll manage to post some like still in this year… Or not.

          1. Ha! Good. Prague is unbearably picturesque, however, your local guides should be able to show you some interesting places and I’m sure you’ll be pleased to see how cheap it is, compared to your country. Also, beer is cheaper than bread here.

    1. Thank you for your well wishes, London was okay, but I’m so narrow-minded that I enjoy my home town better :-O Good to be back home now and enjoying London more via the photos I took and am now perusing in the comfort of my home…
