    1. Ah, that’s a lovely positive reading! It was more pain at the neighbours’ dog hysterical howling, but there was some pleasure in joining the dog and requiting the noise 😉 So it went both ways!

    1. This is actually based on real life incident, which started as sheer frustration at the neighbours’ dog howling so much throughout the night, but I ended up enjoying howling along with the beast at the end. Just a little howling though… And yes, I was a bit desperate.

      1. Oh that’s fantastic! Howling along with him! Brilliant. How did he react?! I know how you feel. My neighbour sometimes ignores his dog and doesn’t feed him, then when he goes to work early in the morning, the dog stands in the driveway and barks over and over for aboit an hour. At 7am! So frustrating!

        1. Oh, that’s not good, your neighbor ignoring his dog! How could he? My neighbours’ dog is not neglected, but he is neither trained nor particularly clever because he keeps on howling at cats. The neighbour has a cat besides a dog. I have cats too. One would think the dog will get used to it, but no. He’s a great howler. He didn’t hear me, though, I was howling just quietly in the house… Must try to out-howl him some time!

          1. Yes I feel quite sad for him, poor little guy. He has been a bit better lately now that the children are home from school.
Yes! Leg go with some wild, loud howling on day. It could really help 😄

          2. Good to hear the dog has some new companions and food providers now! It’s shameful not to take proper care of one’s pet. I plan to go outdoors and try out-howling the dog at the nearest occasion…

    1. I’m sorry for these disturbing lines about night disturbance! Please don’t worry though, it’s poetic licence and no howling was actually happening. Not much anyway. *howls a little*

          1. Yes, you are so right! I find howling discomforting, you find it comforting; I find rain annoying, you like it. Ooh, we’ll have a hard marriage, trying to figure it all out 😉

          2. oh dear, and it’s only been a day and your regretting it by the sounds of it 😦 Well lets just hope it does not rain as I can cope without it you know and the idea is, you can find comfort in me as it doesnt bother me, whereas if I found it annoying we would not be of use to each other at all no?
