    1. Oh, thanks! It’s funny, I don’t even like the photo, but I decided to try to post it anyway and see how you guys would like it… Interesting!

The photo was slightly surreal even before I started editing it, and I guess I involuntarily enhanced this quality when I was trying to turn what was a cloudy late afternoon into a sunny day ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Me and spying on the neighbours? I’m no curtain twitcher :-p It’s my in-laws’ place and I’m happy to leave them with maintaining their pool. I know I’d hate doing it.

          1. You know what, I’m seriously glad that you approve ๐Ÿ™‚ People usually think I’m weird that I don’t like swimming in cool pools in summer (or even in winter, for the matter).

  1. I didn’t understand what it was at first! I thought it was a packet of colourful straws placed on a blue table!
Only when I scrolled down to read the comments did I realise it was a pool! I wish I had one at home, well as long as nobody spies me on his/her balcony! A private pool is particularly great when you consider the sheer number of people who go to the beach or the public pools!

    1. Yes, it looks totally like straws! It’s so colourful ๐Ÿ™‚ I like taking photos where there is as few objects in them as possible, so the result is often misleading. I should start a guessing competition for you to guess what’s in the picture ๐Ÿ˜‰ A private pool would make sense in Mauritius, but here summer is just a few months and the maintenance of the pool is awful work and expense too. I think I’d prefer to have a private beach ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Thanks a lot! Well, my summer has been party as summery as the pool and partly rainy, but I don’t mind that ๐Ÿ™‚ Have an excellent summer yourself!
