Weekly Photo Challenge: Street Life

Weekly Photo Challenge: Street Life

240WPPStreetLifeHow funny is it that I took my first ever photo of street life today in the morning and this photo challenge came up in the afternoon?

    1. Thanks! The funny thing is that I just used a simple black and white filter for the photo — and I cropped people’s faces — sometimes it’s as simple as that πŸ™‚ P.S. I tried to send you a message via the Gmail chat yesterday, nothing substantial, just a test, but did it work?

  1. Honestly,it is perfect. It is the exact kind of photo I wanted to take for this prompt.I would have turned it into black and white too! It cannot get any better!
Sadly I cannot go outside with my camera and take a photo of the people in the streets. They’ll find me weird and give me looks!

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words! I admit I’m quite happy with how the photo turned out — I’ve seen similar ones, also in black and white, so I got inspired… I doubt it’s OK in any country to go out and take pictures of people — I shot this when most of the people had their backs turned on me and I was pretending I’m just playing with the camera, not actually shooting anything! I felt a bit like a criminal πŸ˜‰

  2. That turned out really cool! I love all the feet (we share that… lol). Who wants to see heads anyway? And I love the new look of your blog… it’s awesome!

    1. Thanks! Yes, I’m more interested in feet rather than in faces! Also, I wouldn’t wish to post people’s faces without their consent, so it’s better this way πŸ˜‰ Thanks for the compliment on my new blog looks, I’m working on it still…

  3. I love this shot, not seeing the faces of the people leaves room for imagination.

I didn’t know WordPress ran a weekly photo challenge, may have to take a look.
