Cat Bird

Ella is perching atop a tree. I think that she’s thinking she’s a bird.

    1. Hahahah! I was gonna say the same.

My female kitty likes to sit inside the bird feeder my neighbour’s got… neighbour NOT impressed.

      Great shot – beautiful kitty!

      1. Hehe, your kitty is a smart one! I think we will need a larger bird feeder – we have one too (grandparents with whom we share the house insist on having it), but it’s not made for a cat to perch in it and lie in wait. I like cats more than birds, so this idea sounds quite attractive to me πŸ˜‰ By the way, thank you for stopping by and sharing your funny story! Say hello to your kitty!

    2. Haha, yes, totally, that must be what she was thinking!! Be glad for your lazy cat; both of my cats are active hunters and they keep on leaving small prey on the doorstep. Often they eat what they catch, though, which doesn’t make me too happy (I’m worried about diseases). The largest prey the two of them caught and ate most of it was a hare – I was quite shocked. It reminded me that besides them being my pets, they are beasts and creatures of nature…

    1. I didn’t have to get up there, God forbid, we mostly have small stunted fruit trees in the garden, so I can easily stalk my cats from the ground. This is one good shot of a series of about hundred shots I took of the cat sitting on the branch! Luckily, she was rather patient with me.

      1. Lol it’s brill and you have fruit trees I’m so jealous! I have an apple tree but that’s it. I got in to foraging last year and made jams and pickles. I need more trees though πŸ™‚

      1. I have kittys too! And doggies! I have in mind a rather non PG statement to go with that about sharing something rather kitty like but I should behave, it is totally unwarranted and will make you blush too much!
